Please.[/quote] A little bit of history would help you. The northwestern portion of Virginia splitted from the state because they didn't want to secede from the union. They didn't want to be traitors. They chose to remain within the union. That portion became a state (West Virginia) at the beginning of the civil war.[/quote] DP.
