Omg I feel the same way, to be honest, I think they could have cast much better. I'm not a big Katherine Heigl fan, I don't think she made the best adult Tully, to be honest... she's not pretty to me. There had to be a much better Tully choice out there. The young Kate and Tully were fine, I think they did great. I just wish they'd picked better adult characters.[/quote]

I think Heigl is perfect for this role (although I didn't read the books) and was chosen in part because of the "reputation" she has/had. Who better to play a talk show diva than a diva herself.

DP.  I thought Heigl was the perfect choice for Tully.  But Sarah Chalke just annoys me so very much.  I did like the actresses who played the young Kate and Tully.[/quote]
