How is it demanding and unreasonable to expect people to be responsible dog owners? It would piss me off too. I have a dog (and neighbors!) and if my dog barks when she is outside, I call her in. That is the polite and neighborly thing to do. Nobody wants to listen to your dog bark it’s head off outside.

I don't have a dog, but I grew up with dogs, and no way would we think that we dictate when someone's animal is outside.  Get out of bed, for once, OP.  WTH do you do all day? You should be embarrassed.
