Sure - but its hard not to be wary of something you thought was great (Capitol) when you read some of these messages. You begin to second guess when you see how well Pride is doing and how many terrible things you hear about Capitol.
I wouldn't base your decision on a forum with anonymous posters, that definitely weakens credibility IMO. There have been several LOGICAL replies stating that Capital has a longstanding reputation for top level high school lacrosse, and Pride is developing and heading in that direction as well. When another competitive club emerges, it will naturally have an impact on the other club splitting the top talent pool in 2 directions. Hopefully the younger age groups, rec and travel, can keep up with developing enough girls to support 2 top level programs. Unless you want to drive to Md, Capital and Pride are your 2 choices, and based on all of the posts they both have their pros and cons. Does your daughter already have strong core group of players on her current team? If they all try out for the same team, then that program will likely continue to be strong at that age group. If you daughter is good enough to make pride or capital in high school, I think you are on a good track either way.
