It isn't a good idea to tell everyone you know (or even the parent's of all of your kid's friends) that you have guns in the house. If I knew the person, and knew the guns were securely stored I would be ok. A good friend of ours had guns. He showed one -- unloaded of course- to our kids. He told them "This will kill you. It will kill me. It will kill... " and then proceeded to point to and name every person in the room. He did not go into detail that there was more than one in the house. Op, everyone who has a gun in there house isn't going to tell you. Even if you ask. [/quote]
