Exactly. I just practice simple empathy. If I wouldn't want to go back under the conditions, then I don't expect other people to. DCPS is doing a horrible job. I think a lot of the vitriol toward teachers should be going to the president and mayor. Stop bungling everything and give us some confidence that you aren't as dim witted as you seem and you actually thought even the simplest things through. If we are still in this position next August, I'll use my privilege and try to move out of the country. Then there would be a huge signal that there is something wrong with America (I mean, stating the obvious, but still...) that they aren't prioritizing putting kids in school. [/quote]

I have zero empathy for teachers, parents, the WTU, and their crony elected officials, who all ganged up on the most vulnerable kids to keep them out of school. Zero. [/quote]
