How do you see that? The the gap will be a lot bigger and a lot of “elite” players will be out. This will not increase the opportunity to play elite soccer. It will decrease it....specially on the girls side. Better hope your kid is one of the top 2-3 kids on your ecnl team and no one comes in from another club. The rest of the team players(4-whatever) will most likely be replaced. That’s what happens when you narrow the opportunities. I bet a lot of the parents complaining about water down talent pool will see there kid cut from the elite teams. [/quote]

Yes, that's true.  He was talking about the true mediocre players playing CCL, NPL, etc at u14 and up.   Those parents seem to be chomping at the bit for a fantasy pro/rel arrangement with Sr. ECNL.   Based on the proposed list, it looks like there are a few GFR and CYA parents involved.[/quote]
