Why Flagstaff, I wonder? I also wondered if the move was mainly to provide a new story line. Meri living in the largest house could also be part of the story line. They had a workable setup in Vegas but supposedly were tired of Vegas. It seems like Cody just gets restless and wants to move every few years. [/quote]

I think it was many things.  Kody’s itchy feet, Las Vegas heat, story line, sin city, the mass shooting there- a few of their children were supposed to be at that concert.  The show as deteriorated and they generally only have one nugget with each show- I wish they would talk to the kids again.
