Did they really have a choice between a tech and art rotation? My current 6th grader is taking a mix of tech and art classes at JW this year. I don't remember having her decide to do a tech rotation or arts rotation last year.[/quote]

But for the other quarters, kids were still assigned to arts classes. It’s not like a kid would only get tech classes or arts classes. My dd put tech classes as her two top choices but she still did general music last quarter and will be doing studio art next quarter.[/quote]

Ugh, last year you picked which rotation and the classes you wanted in those rotations.  There are no choices this year. None.  No choice rotations and no choices in the one and only rotation.  You want robotics or coding?  Great.  You will end up with Culture and Music and be happy.  [/quote]
