(Because let's be honest, lots of parents send their kids to TJ so that they can go to UVA. It's a preferred choice.)

79/200 = 39.5%
21/100 = 21%

Overall HYPS Stats:

Ballpark numbers, because really... you're can't do it yourselves. How typical.

FCPS = 58K kids. MCPS = 48K kids.

We have 20% more kids than you.  We send about 10% more than you to HYPS. Big whoop. I explain below.

You argue you have more FARMS. That means that you are arguing that your kids are inherently struggling to even get to the level of us because they are poorer. Dudes. That's the most sick racist thing I have ever heard. Why?

Because MCPS spends 2.68 billion and FCPS spends 3.0 billion. Meaning for our 20% increase in kids, we are still spendng proportionally less than you, by about 10%.. We are doing more with our money than you are. And you pay a higher tax rate than we do.

Wow. You're arguing over a 10% deviation of HYPS when we spend less than you, we have more kids, and even if our FARMs rate is lower, we still have a #4 school and and we have 4 schools nationally ranked over your two. We have a 50% proportional national success rate over all of your schools. And we do it with less proportional money to our kids, and more kids, and less taxes.

FCPS school system is better because we can do more with less and we keep attracting UMC families.

50% more HYPS when adjusted for preferential UVA enrollment.
