I just want to know what "bad bread" versus "good bread" is. Everyone keeps saying not to get the Giant or Costco bread so is the only good bread the kind you have to bake yourself? Or is everyone thinking white vs. whole wheat or what? Karen? Becky? can you help explain to me?
Look at the ingredients. If it’s full of palm oil, hydrogenated oils and preservatives, don’t get it. Yes, a good rule of thumb is to avoid baked goods at Walmart that are designed to sit on shelves for months. Try trader Joe’s Their products actually have an expiration date. If you leave TJ bread bag out on the counter, it will mold within a week, which should be true of “real” bread.
