It's like a straight blow out. It's really not Dryer+Brush=Revlon, it's Flat Iron+Brush+Dryer=Revlon. The main advantage is speed and ease, so not sure the Dyson has that over a curling iron but I understand it's not as hot so if you were really worried about heat that might be a good reason to try it.
