I use this and have hair down to my waist. People have accused me of having hair extensions, my hair looks that good. This thing is a miracle, full stop.

Yes! Same here. In fact, I think I'll purchase a second one now in case they ever discontinue it (please, no!).

My very expensive hair cutter asked what I used on my hair. I told him and asked if it was okay. He said "as long as you keep it moving it will be fine. Just like you would not leave an iron on a shirt - you have to keep it moving or it will burn."

I think most people who complained about this product likely left it in their hair without movement. You've got to keep it moving but at least you are only holding the device and not a dryer and a brush!

In any event, everyone I recommend this thing to loves it. Just recommended to a colleague and it has changed her life.

And no, I do not work for Revlon!

And my high-end hairdresser also commented on how great my hair looked when I went in for a cut. In the past, I had always gone in with my usual somewhat frizzy/poofy hair. This time, it was freshly blown out with my Revlon thingy. She couldn't believe how professional it looked. Secretly, I think it looked better than her blowouts.

Anything is better than going to the Drybar in Bethesda these days. The last time I went there they kept me waiting 45 minutes past my appointment time with not a single apology. They lost my business forever

I haven't use the dyson and I know it has different attachments, but fwiw the revlon doesn't do any kind of curl for my hair. It's like a straight blow out. It's really not Dryer+Brush=Revlon, it's Flat Iron+Brush+Dryer=Revlon. The main advantage is speed and ease, so not sure the Dyson has that over a curling iron but I understand it's not as hot so if you were really worried about heat that might be a good reason to try it.

I just had a horrifying customer service experience at Drybar (stylist yelled at me, complained about what Drybar pays, and then literally stomped off with my hair half done) and, despite being really awful at doing my own hair, am now on a mission to figure out how to blow it out well myself and found this thread. Wish me luck, ladies!

Make sure to let your hair dry naturally most of the way, and then dampen it a little with a spray bottle before starting. Take large sections and keep the hair taut as you roll it continuously. I hope you love it - it's changed my life!!

I have very curly/frizzy hair. What works for me is letting it dry about 75% and then using the Revlon dryer. At first I thought you just keep running it through your hair, like a brush - then I realized you have to keep rolling it up in sections and turning, turning, turning, the way you would with a round brush. AMAZING results!! Even better than when I get a professional blowout because it dries straight and shiny, but with some volume too. My hairdresser can never make it look like that.

Best purchase ever.

Bought it and it was okay - I decided I don't like how my face looks with straight hair. Also, curly / wavy is trendier.
