I knew someone would say this.  When you drive towards your house, you can see the yard, the driveway, the street, and everything else around you.  Back in to your driveway and/or garage safely.  That way when you leave, you can see everything around you as you pull out - the driveway, the street, your kid's bicycle, your KID, etc.  It is always safer to pull out of a parking area than to back out.  I wonder how many of you idiots check behind your car before backing out, or open the garage door and check your driveway before backing out - probably very few.  Read the news stories and look at how many kids are run over in their own driveways every year.  THIS is why I always back in.[/quote]
