A stupid question here - what’s the difference between an AAP curriculum and a non AAP one?
Other than math, the curriculum is identical. For math, it is advanced which means that the 3rd-5th grade math curriculum is taught in 3rd and 4th grade. For schools with advanced math, the classes can be for students who are advanced in math, not just AAP students.
The curriculum is not the same. They go more in depth in all subjects and have more project based learning. Students also have a little more freedom to do self directed work. I had seen a write up on the curriculum specifics but can't find it now. I will post if I find it.
