Also the isolation, no school and they were always kept inside, never playing in their yard.  Usually home schooled children are encouraged to join scouts or play with the neighborhood kids so they can learn social skills.  probably the moms were afraid the kids would report them if they had contact with the outside world (other than their groupies). I wonder what the 19 year old was doing?  didn't appear to be employed and he was past the school age.  He could have held at least a part time job at that age even if he was still being home schooled.[/quote]
