If that happens, then I'm confident that the CR will pass. If not, I'm slightly less confident but expect that it will. [/quote] As much as I distrust McConnell, if I were a Dem senator I would be setting that language up to trigger something punitive to McConnell if he doesn't keep his word, like removing him from leadership of the Senate, perhaps removing him from the Senate completely.
