So, you think “Youth basketball growth” explains why white kids predominate in high level Travel soccer in this area? Following the president’s racist “Xxxxhole countries” remark, I find this comment blind, ignorant, and/or unfunny. There are tons of black, Hispanic, and otherwise non-white kids in this area who’d like to play high level soccer, but who don’t have access.

Actually, some of those countries are corrupt shitholes - not a glamorous phrase, but it has nothing to do with the color of their skin, but more with the culture of corruption.

The people living in those countries have to deal with the corrupt politicians and the corrupt government workers that aren't paid enough to they try to pad their pocket from the people they govern and are supposed to serve.  It becomes a part of their life, it certainly isn't a part of their culture.[/quote]
