When was it ever not OK to be white?
For the last 10 years or so.
Oh noes. Another aggrieved white snowflake. White peoples just don't have enough privilege anymore and PP"s not going to take it anymore.
Whites, who will soon be a minority in this country, have decided that if every other group will use tribal, identity politics, then they will too. If democrats want to make politics totally tribal, then you can't expect republicans and whites not to fight back.
It's interesting you view people seeking rights and to be treat as equal humans as an attack.
Equal rights and "putting my group first" are two different things. If you look at a policy or government expenditure first as "is this good for my group first" that has nothing to do with equality. If you want equality in front of the law, or equal treatment by the government I think many will stand together for it. History shows that multi-ethnic empires rarely last long.
Bingo. It's so rediculous to claim that diversity is a "strength." It's one greatest weakness and why we will eventually be surpassed by China. It's a source of constant racial tensions, tribal politics, and discord.
History shows any great power doesn't last long. It has nothing to do with multi-culturalism, and everything to do with the fact that great powers just die out because they become lax, while others continue to strive.
When people start agitating for x group first rather than the country as a whole it leads to breakup. Look at Spain, Italy, and Scotland, all of which have groups or entire nations with separate identities (and in some cases languages) that agitate for independence.
That means Trumpsters and Trumplandia will be the downfall of the US. Last I checked, Scotland is still part of the UK. Catalonia is still part of Spain. Sure, there are those who want to secede, but it hasn't happened yet. Will it ever? Who knows. And last I checked, a part of the US wanted to secede too. It had nothing to do with "multi-culturalism" then. And Italy? You are going to bring up the Roman Empire? You seriously cannot be comparing the Roman empire to the US.
You need a check up because your info is out of date.
Yep, two recent votes in italy: Venato and Lombardy. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/oct/23/northern-italy-regions-overwhelmingly-vote-for-greater-autonomy It doesn't matter if they are successful, the fact is that all of these regions put their local identity above that of their citizenship.
yes.. which is why the Southern states voted to secede as well. It has zero to do with multi-culturalism as the ^^pp stated and everything to do with wanting local control.
