This is why some people say white people are clueless.  Look at the list. These are all small groups and/or under represented groups in business as well as in government. DNC is trying to bring a voice to these under represented groups.  White people as a whole are NOT under represented in either business or government.    They are not excluding white people as a whole. They are represented in the bolded groups.

Oh, do most black Americans whose ancestors came here before 1860 know the ethnic background of their African ancestors who were forced to come here as slaves?  Do most African Americans have last names that refer back to their ethnic background?  Please tell us, how will most black Americans be able to pinpoint their Congo/Chad/Nigerian ancestry?  Are you suggesting the US government  pay for DNA tests or pay to do geneological research on all all American slaves, so that their descendants can know what their origins are?[/quote]
