Depending on what account you believe: Sneha had argued with her husband at the courthouse that morning (her husband denies that) Sneha's brother had walked in on Sneha and his former girlfriend having sex (her brother denies ever telling police that). Sneha had been charged with making a false accusation to police (she accused a man of groping her) and had been in court the morning of her disappearance. Sneha was known to frequent gay bars and to stay out all night at her friends' places w/o letting her husband know where she was. Sneha did not come home on 9/10 after her shopping trip at a store to buy lingerie and bedding. And those shopping bags have never been recovered. Some questions: What were Sneha's finances like? Did she have large student loan payments? If she had been convicted of giving a false statement to police would would her punishment have been and what would the consequences have been to her professional career? As far as what happened to Sneha. I am leaning towards her taking the opportunity to disappear and go somewhere to start her life over again.
I believe this is the truth. There's a very large network of people who help abused women do this kind of disappearing. I'm not saying she was one, but maybe she hated her life enough to lie to get the resources available to help. Or perhaps it was some kind of LGBTQ+ group who helped. The date could have just been a total coincidence. I just don't think she perished on 9/11 in the towers as a hero. There are too many missing gaps in accounting for her whereabouts on 9/10 and the early morning of 9/11 for that to be a good explanation. Someone earlier mentioned she could have met her demise on 9/10 as the victim of foul play. That is so eerie to think about and it also makes me wonder, could there be others? Were there other people killed on 9/11 or even in the days following that we just don't know about? Since communication systems were all down that day and even some the next day, could relatives have assumed a lack of communication from their loved ones in the city meant that they'd perished in the towers?
