Just starting with SGF. Dr Nair is professional, good bedside manner. Clerical staff at Rockville and Ballston both polite and efficient. But a very different story for the D.C. Office staff- both lady and man at front desk were rude (the young woman particularly), had an attitude and generally made my experience unpleasant. One of the nurses at that office apparently switched two of my test result numbers. Thank god tge dr caught her mistake, but not until after my consult, and it changed the prognosis a bit. Jesus. Also the office seemed shabby/dirty. In Ballston, they take blood samples right at the waiting room - no screen or door for privacy. When I told the nurse I get queasy and need to lie down, she pulled a face on me. Another more competent nurse saw my discomfort and did my draw in a room behind closed door. But honestly SGF, having to watch a series of people get blood drawn in front of you as you sit anxiously waiting, then you get no privacy when it's your turn. Rather silly. Then later the same day, my assigned case nurse completely unprepared with my treatment plan. Forgot to put in my prescriptions and I had to remind her on every one! And this service is not cheap-- RX is a totally separate cost. All of this is signaling lack of overall competence, unfortunately. If I go for another round I may switch to another provider.
