The second mother was neglectful and emotionally abusive but the state only intervened when the children were old enough to tell the judge they needed to be with their dad. All of the children have major issues because the state waited so long to do the right thing. Assuming your situation is "normal" OP, you'll likely split physical custody by how much depends on the family. I know a lot of families with 50/50 physical or 60/40. [/quote]
