We eat an early dinner out somewhere (sometimes on the boardwalk), and then return to the beach without all the beach gear around 6 pm and take a long walk/stroll on the beach, and watch the sun set.  We also do rides/games in the midways on the boardwalk until it's dark out, then get an ice cream on the board walk, go back to the hotel and sleep really well from such a fun day.

Every day we go to the beach is pretty much like that, we do a week-long beach trip every year, and a few smaller weekend trips throughout the summer and fall, and I love it.  I actually get really depressed in late October when it's too cold to go to the beach for the rest of the winter. [/quote]
