$100k HOUSEHOLD income is considered low income in San Francisco. That means two people earning $50k each is low income in SF. In the SF Bay Area, the median income was $88k in 2016. I need to find more data, but I'd be mildly surprised if $150k income is anything less than top 15% for the Bay Area and probably around top 10% when age adjusted. [/quote]

Okay, having trouble finding individual data, but $141k is top 25% HOUSEHOLD income in SF Bay Area. I stand by my theory that $150k would be at least top 15% of individual incomes in the Bay Area and at least top 10% for an early 30s man in he SF Bay Area.  I guess absurd is a matter of opinion, but even in the Bay Area she would be reducing the pool to 10% of men. Then account for the facts that (a) a material percentage of that 10% are already attached and (b) a significant percentage of that 10% are going to be socially awkward tech workers, and it becomes clear she's looking at a very small pool of men.  Oh, and don't forget that a desireable, single male making that kind of money at that age probably isn't looking to settle down any time soon. [/quote]
