Politicians aren't that interesting, but I met George McGovern in his capacity as Democratic nominee for president and both Michael Dukakis and Bob Dole after they'd left public office. All of them gracious men. I met both Joan Baez and Jon Bauman, aka 'Bowzer' from Sha Na Na as a child. Both of them were great with kids! Met Joe Strummer and Rick Nielson in high school - real nice guys. As a young adult, met Pete Seeger at a picnic. Super decent man, may he rest in peace. [/quote]
