My dad owned a dude ranch in central/foothills california when I was a kid (i lived with my mom in SF) I got to hang out with a lot of old-hollywood celebs like Cary Grant, Robt Mitchum, many others. I was a kid and my dad would introduce me to these people and i didn't know who they were. It was late 60's early 70s. I hung out in the bar/breakfast room and tried to get them to play with me, watch my card tricks, etc.

Richard Simmons picked up my friend because she was so tiny; he thought she was adorable. The Italians were like, "who's that weird American?." He was wearing his typical workout clothes and is super friendly.

Bradley Cooper's parents belonged to the same country club as us growing up. Our moms played tennis together. He's 5 years older than me, so it's not like we hung out, but I'd see him around.

What is Bradley Cooper's personality like?

Other than being a good-looking older kid, I didn't think much about him. I always thought his mom was pretty nice. She definitely a classy society type.

Yup, this is DC.

+1. Politicians aren't that interesting, but I met George McGovern in his capacity as Democratic nominee for president and both Michael Dukakis and Bob Dole after they'd left public office. All of them gracious men.

I met both Joan Baez and Jon Bauman, aka 'Bowzer' from Sha Na Na as a child. Both of them were great with kids!

Met Joe Strummer and Rick Nielson in high school - real nice guys. As a young adult, met Pete Seeger at a picnic. Super decent man, may he rest in peace.

Jim Neighbors. Near his home on Diamond head. I was running the hills while training for a marathon.

Sinbad! 4am at the Dallas airport. I was exhausted and traveling alone with my then 1 year old. My DH was deployed during Desert Storm. He bought me a muffin. So sweet!

Shep Smith. Many, many times. He has a condo in Oxford and goes to a lot of home games. I've been to several parties with him.

No one super big, but I'm easily impressed.

I love Tom Selleck and love watching Magnum! That was a fun show. Do you still have that house in Hawaii?

I slept with Tom Selleck in the 90's.

Are you male or female, PP who slept with Tom Selleck.

female........

Madonna and Lourdes: I was on a secluded beach outside San Diego and was flying a kite with my high school GF. Lourdes came up to me and I showed her how to fly the kite. Hung out with Madonna, Lourdes, and her bodyguards for probably 45 minutes. Madonna was very hands-off and distant. (1997)

Kid Rock & his midget (RIP) - he was humble and really nice (1999)

Guy Ritchie and the cast of Lock Stock - I had drinks with them when I was 17 and they were doing media for the film, just before it blew up (1999)

Selma Hayek - tiny in person.

Pierce Brosnan: multiple times. He's a mensch. I sent a keg of beer to his penthouse hotel room in NYC. I then ran into him multiple times at JFK airport within a two year span and he always remembered me. So weird.

Did you tell Guy that you ran into his wife and daughter 2 yrs prior?

This was about a year or so before he started dating Madonna. This was right before Lock Stock was to be released, so even Guy himself was a nobody.

Why did you send Pierce Brosnan a keg of beer? You must have already been well acquainted with him.

Did Guy Ritchie know you were 17 when he had drinks with you?

The Pierce Brosnan thing was in 2003. I was in my senior year of college in NYC and worked part-time at a Soho hotel's bar. Pierce was a regular guest of the hotel, he'd often have a drink at the quiet bar right after getting in from JFK airport after his trans-Atlantic flight. We had a few rotating taps of Brooklyn Brewery beer, so I would give him a tasting of the beers at the bar and chat. There was usually one or two paparazzi camera men outside the hotel. He liked one type of beer so much that he requested a keg to be sent to the penthouse, as he was going to host a bunch of friends that night Great tipper.

Hanging out with Guy Ritchie and the Lock Stock cast was at an MTV-sponsored party in Los Angeles (where I went to high school). My friend's older sister worked for MTV and got us on the guest list. They were totally fish-out-of-water and knew zero people, so they were happy to chat and hang out with us. They met the stereotypical definition of "lads" and thought it was hilarious that we couldn't legally drink in the U.S., so it was a laugh for them to feed us drinks. I think this was before Lock Stock was even released, they had just gotten off the plane to start doing press. I knew about the film since I was a cinephile and had heard via foreign movie blogs that the film had caused a minor buzz in London.
