But perhaps because I am a mom and understand that some societies are just so poverty stricken and devoid of opportunities (I grew up in Brazil), and because I can also relate to that mom who wants to provide for her child, I was crying. I hardly ever cry. It was understated, raw, moving, and haunting. I am still tearing up writing this. Even if one is not an immigrant or a mom, I am sure many thought it was moving. I especially liked it was understated, and how much was communicated through expressions. [/quote]
