I came to the US with money to attend a pricey ivy league law school, then became an immigrant, so while I'm an immigrant I didn't face the troubles they did. But perhaps because I am a mom and understand that some societies are just so poverty stricken and devoid of opportunities (I grew up in Brazil), and because I can also relate to that mom who wants to provide for her child, I was crying. I hardly ever cry. It was understated, raw, moving, and haunting. I am still tearing up writing this. Even if one is not an immigrant or a mom, I am sure many thought it was moving. I especially liked it was understated, and how much was communicated through expressions.

Interesting! I actually didn't even notice her abdomen at all. I was too busy admiring her talent &, tbh, wishing my legs looked like hers

I am really old by DCUM standards and I was happy that Lady Gaga looked fit and had incredible legs. I worry about the young performers who starve themselves so that their ribs and collarbones have more prominence than their talent.
