He probably walked out drunk and battered and passed out in the snow. Nothing the homeowners did helps the case against Read. They are sus as hell. Without all their weird behavior, this case might have had a chance. They blew it. And as cops, I have a hard time believing they would risk letting that happen unless they were hiding their own crimes. [/quote]
