You seem like you might be familiar with the situation, enough to know what the loopholes are. Interesting.

You really think these parents and those like them would not have raised holy hell about this kid being kicked out of school?

The school was asking the parents to do the right thing and take him home, but they refused.  He was old enough to be home by himself.  Obviously, the parents knew he was a risk to himself or someone else, or they would have taken him home. Yet, at the same time, they would not get him the help he was literally crying out for.

They only cared for themselves, as you know (see your post). [/quote]
