That factoid hurts the school district in the civil suit far more than the parents in the bogus criminal case.

Not sure why there can’t be numerous responsible parties here, because there clearly are.
The parents storage of the gun is not illegal.
The district will be sued for a billion with a B dollars before the end of the week.
Right. I really don't see how they are going to get much more of a criminal charge beyond negligence. Unless it can be proven they knew he took the gun the school/ they gave it to him at school.
The text from his mom telling him to "just not get caught" searching for ammunition is going to age very badly.

not surprised
Is this the same sheriff who was trashing the prosecutor for charging the parents? Maybe he's figured out which way the wind is blowing for his re-election.
The sheriff is as RINO as they come, with a sterling career, so I’m not sure where this fake narrative is coming from that he’s some right wing wack job. The prosecutor went to two degree mills and just assumed office this year.
The prosecutor attended Alma College, which is a perfectly respectable regional liberal arts college. Her law degree is from Wayne State University, an R1.
Anonymous wrote:The alleged request that they take him home sounds like fabricated CYA to me. School discipline is black and white. Either he was being kicked out of school for the day or days or he wasn’t. He wasn’t. Period end of story. I personally don’t believe school officials “suggested” he leave school at all. It is a bit nonsensical that a kid not being disciplined was asked to leave with his parents.

No, the sheriff is clearly in support of charging the parents. Watch any interview with him - it’s clear.
Anonymous wrote:The parents are both employed and temp left work to come to the meeting. Why would they take him home if not ordered to do so? That’s even if we believe they were asked to take him home — which I personally question since this school is run by nitwits. This isn’t on them, however trashy and MAGA they are, this is on school officials. I predict the bogus charges against the parents by an attention craving first year county prosecutor will be dismissed and the district and its county ISD will be successful sued for a nine-figure settlement.

This is prime evidence of bullying.
And speaking of parents, why aren’t the parents of bully’s held criminally responsible? Maybe if we did that, bullying would stop increasing every year.
I assume Oxford was remote his entire 9th grade year? Or at least most of it. Have to wonder if he lost his old friend group during remote learning transition to high school and/or was on radicalized by unfettered internet access at home all day while parents were at work?
Cyber bullying increased exponentially during remote learning.
Why do you so desperately want to excuse these three monstrous people with lies and speculation? Maybe look within yourself.
