Did I miss something?[/quote] Her biomom had, in her eyes, rejected her (by seeking to terminate parental rights) and her biodad had never been in the picture, so I assumed she felt as though this was one more way of erasing her actual origins. It's one thing to have people wanting to include you in their family and quite another to feel as though they're saying your original family never existed. Think of all the people om DCUM who are outraged that their ILs want to be called Mom & Dad.[/quote]
