I also thought, "What a weird thing to say." She is 3 years into this faux-lationship, and she still needs to constantly remind us that she is dating a black guy.

My husband and I are both white. My celebrity crush was Anthony Bourdain (RIP). The topic doesn't come up often, but why would I need to say, "Is it weird to tell my husband that I'm attracted to another white guy?"

I also find this so strange. My husband and I are white and two of my children are not white. I do not see the need to point it out. It is 2025, sis. You do not get a gold star for "dating" a black guy. People see he's black because they have eyes. And if they do not have eyes or if they are blind, Trevor will reveal that he is black within the first 30 seconds of meeting them and remind them and remind them again that HE IS A BLACK MAN. So yes, Jen. We KNOW he is Black.

I find other men attractive all the time. My "hall pass" if you will is Chris Hemsworth. Hot Thor, not dad bod Thor. I see no reason to explain this to my husband. This only highlights her emotional immaturity.

Also the level of ick in comparing Trevor to Denzel is off the charts. EW.[/quote]
