You can also do what Josh Allen and Haylee Steinfeld did and be more public (public engagement announcement, released wedding photos to press) but just be extremely straightforward and not dodgy about it -- we are getting married, yes the wedding is soon, here are pictures of our wedding. You can actually tamp down paparazzi obsessiveness if tabloids just know in advance they'll get good quality photos from the source and a press release in a timely way that avoids anyone being scooped. Take all the mystery out of it.

Or you can be extremely public about it but also keep it all a mystery to build maximum interest and speculation, and then complain that the scrutiny is unfairly intense. That is also an option.[/quote]
