They kept stalling her parents until they filed a missing persons report on September 11th. The police couldn't 'watch' him if they didn't know a crime had been committed. Lastly had the parents trusted their guts and filed earlier - they might have located and detained him on the 3rd or 4th before he disappeared or crossed the border.[/quote]
