My issue is that it is shortsighted and irresponsible to just rush along and push Biden out without even having any inkling of a viable replacement.  And don't say "oh but other potential candidates have been discussed!" given we don't know if they would agree to it, don't know how they poll against Trump, and in fact some of the names that were floated have already said outright they didn't want to run.[/quote]

The fact that Biden has to be pushed out without a viable replacement shows how desperate the situation has become. His entourage did not expect his decline to be this rapid.

There's been a lot of hysterics about supposed "Parkinsons" or other neurological issues. I am not on board with any of that.  He's old, he is stiff with arthritis, he has neuropathy in his feet and other issues but I think beyond that the "Parkinsons / dementia" claims are totally hyperbolic.  We've seen him unscripted, on his feet answering questions for an hour at the NATO conference and several other interviews, events and discussions, and as someone who has known people suffering from Parkinsons, Alzheimers and other issues, I'm just not seeing it with Biden.  Yet we've spun up this whole set of histrionics about something that still seems specious.  [/quote]
