Biden has placed Harris in a very difficult situation by lingering. She has been loyally staying by his side but this is going to be used to accuse her of covering up for him....a charge that is hard not to believe.

I like her and would support her in a heartbeat (cover up is a non issue for me bc basically all Ds in DC hold responsibility for this), but there are many voters not so sure about her and I think the "cover up" story will be her downfall.

It's so sad how Biden's team has really messed things up.

The one saving grace could be that when he bows out that he says he has realized there is an age at which - despite the wisdom that comes with age - the fast critical thinking skills for operating high level jobs can become difficult. Therefore, term limits for SC justices are needed. He could just maybe ride this messaging to get the vote through IMO (bc it's harder for the Rs saying that he is too old not to agree that there is also a "too old" age for justices) [/quote]
