this is an excellent idea. Drew has implemented a program for reading tutoring that uses proven phonics techniques. If the libraries can provide space and help recruit tutors and provide the materials out of their budget that would be huge.  Btw did you know that the Head of the library system in Arlington is one of the highest paid county employees? A couple years ago she was making over $200K.[/quote]
