You went to a midwesterm state university (your parents were working class, but aspirational). You majored in English lit and love Jane Austen. You went straight to law school (because what else does one do with an English degree)?. You got into a much better law school than undergrad--top 10, even--but really racked up the law school debt. Luckily, you also met your DH there. You were one of the cutest girls in your law school class and highly sought-after. You worked at a less-prestigious biglaw firm for a few years, but your heart wasn't in it. Besides, DH really thrives on the competitive nature of law practice and was just better at it than you. You secretly wish you had followed your dreams to be a school librarian, but everyone told you were "too smart" for that. You now SAH with your girls (you like to dress them in coordinating outfits from gymboree with hair bows) and your DH resents the huge law school loans you are still paying back. You want to move back to Ohio to be closer to family and for a lower COL but DH likes the big city.

You live in North Bethesda in a split-level house that you loathe and really hate that everyone knows its really just Rockville. You have a lot of facebook friends from college and high school and resent that they have such nicer houses and vacations.
