SY+30 with a 9/1 cutoff is the same thing as 8/1 with a rule that Aug players arent allowed to play down. Which is almost guaranteed to happen because allowing players to play down screws up recruiting when players are older.

What's going on is you have one parent that's giddy about their kid playing down. So much so that they can barely contain themselves.

Playing down is what ruined HS sports. Regular kids dont stand a chance against 16 year old freshman. Its a shortcut that generally doesnt play out as they get older.[/quote]Seems the only advocates for playing down, aka outside the 365 day age group, are one offs; SY plus lune, and rapid bioband defender.
