However, we did end up sending all of our children to daycare as infants, and they are lovely, fun, witty, hardworking, loving, focused, persevering, creative, dedicated young people now. So now in hindsight, I wholeheartedly think that their infant childhood experience was not harmed in anyway. In fact, I attribute a lot of their current strengths and successes to being with a peer group through those early years. As I look back, as parents in daycare, we had a great network of peers who were supporting each other and looked out for each other as we learned to juggle the demands of raising a family! So, yes, if we did not have the experience of daycare ourselves, I think I would look down upon it myself. But the reality for us is that daycare was a blessing for us and our children![/quote]
