Our preschool director will have us pick one or the other, so we'll need to make our choice next week in advance of the notification date. I know we would love both, but I have a feeling that Dalton will be the better choice for us. Can you comment on whether Dalton differentiates for math and reading early on? I recall hearing they do for math but not sure of the former. At Trinity, we heard that differentiation is only for reading - not sure how long this goes on. Perhaps all of elementary?
Is your daughter some sort of math savant? Why do you need her to differentiate for math.
I have heard very good things about math differentiation at Dalton from current parents. They use lab time to work with advanced kids. Trinity uses Bridges so advanced kids tend to mostly enjoy it but they wouldn’t really be working ahead — more like doing fun enrichment stuff on the side. I would also say Dalton is more likely to keep their commitment to admit you. People get bumped to the waitlist at Trinity last minute fairly often. Both are great options so you can’t go wrong. Congrats!
