Yes, while Americans do commit crimes at a higher rate than immigrants, due to the constitution of the United States of America, our options in dealing with citizens who commit crimes are limited; we have to accept those citizens within our country. Immigrants don't have nearly as many protections under the constitution and we are not forced to accept or tolerate even a minimal amount of crime from immigrants. Tolerance of crime from immigrants, even at lower rates, is completely discretionary from our country. [/quote]
