Out of touch with wages? Minimum wage, at the lowest level, is 15, 080.

And out of touch with financial reality? $24 an hour for someone with little to no education? Outside of sports brawn doesn't pay what 'brain' and skill does.

And let's touch on reality as a whole. Through high school your education is free. Poor, they will feed you too. Get your diploma there are trade schools, some public and some private, all across the country (many high schools have such vocational programs as well) that will teach you mechanics, construction, welding, electrical and plumbing, all of which can earn a person a much better than average wage. Poor and can't afford it? Federal aid is available. And one more thing, those kind of jobs can't be outsourced. So, why would any high school educated American want to work in the fields for 50k when they could do any of the above? [/quote]
