That is a big difference, but I think the logic still stands. I know a number of people who got in to Brent with no sibling preference, which is very different from the last few years. The point is that schools change and your chances change from year to year. A school that was a long shot can become a school where you have a shot very quickly, just as a school where you think you have a good shot (like LT or JOW) can become an impossibility very quickly. Unless you have all low probability schools among your 12, it can't hurt to add a school where things might change. [/quote]

Last year is the first year that all IB siblings didn't get into Brent PK3. Last year was an anomaly, not this year. PK4 still has IB siblings on the waitlist. I agree with your point though. If you have available slots, there's no point not listing places you would like your child to go, even if they are long shots. [/quote]
