Because by 30-35 they want to have children so if you want a partner you have to pick someone. Might not be the prettiest flower or best one in the garden.  Women have a finite time to have kids.  I think they figure if it doesn't work out they can divorce but they'll always have their kids.

From what I've seen of many divorces I think more women would be wiser to pick the random guy out of the bar, and go it alone. No fights over custody, ex inlaws you don't want around your kids, a new gf watching your child.  [/quote]
