Well I am 5 ft and 218 pounds, down from 233 just a few weeks ago and trying to get all this weight off. I'm just counting calories and moving more, nothing dramatic. I've never felt comfortable at this size but never felt comfortable at 110, which is about what I should weigh so don't have a goal in mind other than not fat ass. In any case, I appreciate these tips and will incorporate them into my life. [/quote Likewise. I'm 5'6" and used to weigh between 145 and 150, size 10. I always wanted to be thinner but I have an hourglass shape with big boobs and I was fit and athletic, and skinnier wasn't happening. Well, then I had a baby and now I would kill to be my old weight. I had a really hard time losing the baby weight even though I was nursing, I think because I had bad post-partum anxiety and couldn't sleep and ate sugar to make up for it. (Booze, fast food, soda, etc have never been an issue for me ... only sugar!) At one year post baby I was about 168. Started trying harder to lose it, got pregnant, but miscarried and gained 5 pounds. Same thing happened 6 months later. So now baby is 2 and I weigh almost 180, which is way, way too heavy, and I feel awful and gross. But we are still TTC. I am trying to change up my diet. I realized that I really let myself eat too much sugar during pregnancy and got into that habit and it's very hard to break. This thread is helpful in that way. Hoping if I can cut the sugar and stick to a low-ish carb (75 g or so per day), reasonable protein and fat diet, which is how I used to eat, that I will lose some weight and get healthier. I'm tired of feeling gross.
