I think the point is that many see texting as "weak" communication. It's about a half step up from leaving a note on Kimmie's desk asking, "Do you like me? Check Yes or No." It's passive. Asking a woman out directly (in person or at least on the phone) has a more confident feel to it, at least to me.[/quote]
