Hey guys, so I sent her a text around noon yesterday with a funny article that we both joked about. She responded around 8 pm. I hit her back up around 11ish when I got home. I just asked how her day at the beach was on Sunday. She replied today around 12 hours later it was great and that she had a lot of fun.

I have an iPhone she is droid.

I wouldn't call her, but I would text her one last time depending on her response - like if you asked her how she was and she didn't ask back, yeah no go. But if she did, she could just be BUSY. I would just ask her out. You are now playing games. If you don't like the game, don't play. For all you know, she could have had an emergency she had to attend to.

You don't go four weeks of replaying within an hour or less of each text to all of a sudden 8 hour gaps. To everyone here I suggested a weekday date since she is again out of town this weekend. That she told me weeks ago as well so I don't think this is an excuse.


He said it himself she is acting different after that point of the last date. Maybe something happened that she lost interest. It takes two people to dance.

As a 28 yo female online dater - totally agree with this. Just point blank ask her out when she is back in town.

If you don't like the games, don't play them. If someone gets caught up with my response time, sometimes it is because I am not interestes...or sometimes I am just busy WORKING.

Well, that's true. I think the point is that many see texting as "weak" communication. It's about a half step up from leaving a note on Kimmie's desk asking, "Do you like me? Check Yes or No." It's passive.

Asking a woman out directly (in person or at least on the phone) has a more confident feel to it, at least to me.

That's what I said. Stop with these lame mid-week dates. Set yourself up for success: weekend dates only, so you can take her back to her place, have sex with her and then leave immediately after.
